Meltech Confex Continuous Rotary Extrusion Line Product Cooling System
The product exits the extruder at temperatures in excess of 500°C. In order to achieve the required metallurgical properties, a product cooling system is placed imediately at the exit of the extruder. Cooling the product also assists with down-stream handling.
The temperature of the product cooling liquor is monitored and controlled to ensure the desired product properties are achieved. The coiling system has adjustable cooling lengths and positions which enable the correct exit temperature and product parameters to be achieved.
